LD/ADHD/Dyslexia/Autism

At Success Learning Center, we teach students specific strategies to use to improve their reading comprehension, writing, note-taking, spelling, vocabulary, and math skills, all while building their motivation and self-confidence.  We offer specialized programs for students with Dyslexia, Learning Disabilities, Auditory and Visual Processing deficits, Autism and ADHD. We begin by interpreting previous testing and perform our own evaluation to develop an individualized student learning plan.  We use our multi-sensory methods and visual supports to ensure academic success.  We make sure to fill-in the learning gaps to prevent these achievement gaps from widening.

SAT/ACT

SAT and ACT tests are very important to college-bound students. Scores from these tests not only impact college admission, they are used to determine eligibility for academic scholarships. We make sure that students clearly understand strategies for the test and the content so they can enter into the test with confidence. We want students to achieve their best score. Test prep at Success Learning Center is customized to individual needs and done one-on-one or small groups at the center.

Do you want to learn a foreign language? If so, you're in luck! There are more than 67 million people who speak at least two languages in the United States, and if you want to become a member of this amazing group...we can help! Many of our language tutors have not only been trained professionally to help with your language learning goals but are native speakers of the foreign languages themselves. It is our mission to help as many people as possible find a language tutor who can help them succeed. Our in-person and online tutors can teach you Spanish, French, German, Italian, Chinese, Japanese, and many more wonderful languages from around the world!

Close the achievement gap and strengthen skills to help set your child up for success in the fall. Subjects that we offer are: writing, reading, math, and Spanish. We also help students prepare to take the SAT or ACT. Test anxiety, organizational struggles, and lack of study skills holding your student back? We offer individualized lessons or a class that focuses on improving these important skills.  

Success Learning Center is a great resource to give extra support to homeschool students and students taking classes online. Not only does our expert staff provide content support, they also work to help with note taking, time management and study skills. For online students, Success Learning Center also helps establish a timeline for when to finish classes in order to stay on track.

Using students' academic work as a platform, our tutors teach students how to organize, plan, prioritize, manage time, maintain focus, self-monitor, and study efficiently. As school and life become more demanding for our students, we use their real-life demands to show them ways to be more effective and productive.

College Admissions can be overwhelming. Success Learning Center helps to lessen the stress and confusion associated with applying to college. While in-school college office and guidance counselors offer as much help as they can, many are simply inundated with hundreds of students. We cater to your individual college portfolio to ensure every student has a professional and substantive college essay topic and resume. We work to provide assistance for supplemental essay questions, while working with parents and students to round out a comprehensive list of schools with a focus on submitting applications for the early action deadlines generally set for the beginning to middle of November. One of the most important decisions students and their parents must make is which colleges or universities would be the right fit.
